Silicone oil 12500 is a dimethylpolysiloxane fluid that occurs with a different degree of polycondensation and, as a consequence, a different viscosity with respect to fluids of this type. The molecular structure of this fluid gives it excellent properties.

- Excellent stability at elevated temperatures.
- Little variation in viscosity as a function of temperature.
- Chemically inert against most chemical agents.
- Low surface tension.
- Null degradation by the action of atmospheric agents
- Immiscible with most organic materials.

- Good dielectric properties.
- Store in spaces with temperatures above 20°C.
