Description
It is an anionic surfactant in liquid form, it has good detergency properties, being a surfactant substance, it has an affinity with water and fat, reducing the surface tension of the emulsifying liquid fats and oils, to later be able to remove them from surfaces.

- It is widely used in the personal care industries for different products such as: Shampoo, Soaps of all kinds, toothpaste, among others.
- It is also used in the preparation of emulsifying wax with which oil-in-water emulsions added on fatty or paraffinic bases are prepared.
- Sodium lauryl sulfate is an anionic detergent that is effective in both acidic and basic environments and also in hard water.
